Influence of vitamins C and E on lipid peroxidation processes and T.I. Bondarchuk Abstract. Influence of vitamins (Vit) C and E on the lipid peroxidation processes and activity of NO-synthase system in the pancreas of rats with the epinephrine-induced stress was studied. It was ascertained that Vit C decreased TBA-active products content as well as superdismutase activity more than Vit E under the same conditions. However the decrease of general NOS, eNOS activities and the content of NO2- was more considerable in group with Vit E as compared to the action of Vit C. Both vitamins decreased the activity of iNOS equally. Combined action of Vit C and E under condition of epinephrine-induced stress reduced activity of general NOS and iNOS and the content of NO2- more substantially from those treated with Vit independently, however there was no summation of their effects on studied processes. Key words: vitamin C, vitamin E, lipid peroxidation, superoxide dismutase, NO-synthase system. Danylo Halytskyi National Medical University (Lviv)
COMPARISION INFLUENCE OF CONDITIONED MEDIUM T.S. Herheliuk, O.M. Perepelytsina, M.V. Sydorenko Abstract. This work is a study of mediators and mechanisms of the effect of human mesenchymal stem cells from bone marrow (hMSC BM) on the tumor cell population line MCF-7 (breast adenocarcinoma). It is known that MSCs produce a wide range of cytokines and chemokines, and provide humoral cells interaction. BM MSCs produce tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α), interleukin (IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-8), interferon-alpha (IFN-α). In this study we compared the proliferation, adhesion, survival and antigenic profile of breast adenocarcinoma cells that were cultured with conditioned medium (с-medium) of the MSC and IFN-α. Consequently, it was found that с-medium from MSC inhibited proliferation activity of MCF-7, increased cells adhesion, suppressed the ability to migrate, and reduced the expression of estrogen receptor and epidermal growth factor receptor. Conversely expression of cytokeratins increased, which is a positive sign for the tumor cells of epithelial origin. IFN-α showed a more pronounced effect on the tumor population. These findings suggest that cryopreserved MSC BM has antitumor activity. Also, our data suggest that IFN-alpha is one of the mediators of antitumor effect of MSCs. Key words: IFN-α, mesenchymal stem cells, breast adenocarcinoma, MCF-7.

DIFFERENTIATION OF FATTY TISSUE STROMAL CELLS UNDER DIFFERENT D.B. Dombrovskyi Abstract. Fatty tissue has been lately considered by researchers as an accessible source of autological stem cells. The problem of factors which influence the directed differentiation of stem cells is still important. Experimental researches have been conducted on rats with simulated limb ischemia. Stromal-vascular fraction of fatty tissue was injected to the experimental animals both with limb ischemia and to those with intact extremities. Imunohistochemical researches (determination of antibodies expression to von Willebrand factor, of collagen IV type and vimentin) of processes, which take place with introduced multipotential stromal cells, the number of which is great in stromal-vascular fraction of fatty tissue against the background of ischemia and without it, have been conducted. These results allow defining the future subsequent development of this direction of researches. Key words: ischemia, stromal stem cells. Bukovinian State Medical University (Chernivtsi)

EARLY AND DELAYED REACTION OF TEMPORAL LOBE CELLS OF RATS’ Т.І. Kmet Abstract. It has been established that brain cell density is significantly reduced in the temporal lobe after a 20-minute carotid ischemia and one-hour reperfusion. Density and fraction of carotid cells of the temporal lobe with signs of apoptosis increase significantly on the 12th day of the study, due to reducing the number of neurons and especially glial cells. Ischemia-reperfusion lesion of the cerebral cortex in the investigated lobe leads to the most expressed disorders of neuron’s morphometric parameters both in the early and late period of ischemia-reperfusion. CHARACTERIZATION OF LIPID TRANSPORT SYSTEM IN PATIENTS S.H. Kotiuzhynska, A.I. Hozhenko Abstract. The state of the lipid transport system in patients with different variants of atherosclerosis, depending on the level of heparin in the blood has been examined. It was found that the content of heparin was lowered in all the examined, the degree of heparin drop was more pronounced in cases of atherosclerosis, enhanced by disorders of blood circulation. Disturbances of the lipid transport systems were atherogenic and manifested as an increase in the content of total cholesterol and VLDL, decrease of polyunsaturated fatty acids. We believe that the disorder of the lipid transport system is associated with the depletion of heparin synthesis which should be considered as a possible pathogenesis mechanism of atherosclerosis. THE SYSTEM OF NITROGEN OXIDE GENERATION OF SMALL INTESTINE A.S. Tkachenko, V.H. Hopkalov, М.А. Orlova Abstract. The activity of endothelial and inducible NO-synthases and the content of S-nitrosothiols were studied in the small intestine homogenates of rats with chronic experimental gastroenterocolitis caused by food additive carrageenan intake during 2 and 4 weeks. It was established that carrageenan intake during 2 weeks led to a decrease of eNOS activity and increased the activity of iNOS in small intestine homogenate, causing increased production of NO and, therefore of S-nitrosothiols. A decreased NO synthesis in four-week use of carrageenan indicated a potential role of NO deficiency in the development of microcirculatory disorders and chronic inflammation. FEATURES OF ADJUSTING THE AGGREGATE STATE OF
WOMEN’S BLOOD I.V. Byrchak Abstract. The general coagulation blood potential, fibrinolytic activity of plasma, antiplasmin and plasmin potential activity, fibrinogen level in blood serum, antithrombin III activity, concentration of soluble fibrin-monomer complexes in the blood serum were estimated in women with anaemia of I degree on a background of the dysfunctional uterine bleeding. The changes of blood fibrinolytic potential have secondary nature, that is conditioned by activating the trombinogenesis and fibrinogenesis externally. The hypercoagulation develops by activating the hemopexis through the external mechanism of protrombinasa formation, which is accompanied by a decrease of anticoagulation potential and an increase of aggregation features of thrombocytes. Key words: dysfunctional uterine bleeding, haemostasis system. Bukovinian State Medical University (Chernivtsi)
THE CHARACTERISTIC OF EXCRETORY AND ACIDREGULATING RENAL FUNCTIONS UNDER ALUMINUM SALTS ACTION IN MATURE AND IMMATURE RATS Y.M. Vepryuk Abstract. In experiments on 36 immature and mature males of nonlinear albino rats weighing 0,60-0,10 0,16-0,21 kg respectively it was shown more significant nephrotoxic effect of the studied environmental factor on the immature animals, judging from the fact that the concentration of protein in the urine and its excretion increased against the background of the introduction of aluminum salts in immature rats. The mature rats tended to increase the excretion of ammonia and a significant ammonia ratio increase when aluminum salts were introduced. RISK OF ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION DEVELOPMENT DUE TO T393C GENE I.A. Dudсhenko Abstract. According to foreign researchers, T393С gene polymorphism of α-subunit of the G-protein (rs7121) affects the sympathetic-adrenal system and the risk of hypertension. There are also data on the dependence of the manifestations of this polymorphism on the associated risk factors. However, these data are contradictory, which may be explained by ethnic differences in patients. In Ukraine there were no studies on this issue. We have studied 166 hypertensive patients and 90 healthy individuals. Determination of the polymorphism was performed by polymerase chain reaction with subsequent analysis of restriction fragments. The study found no statistically significant difference in the distribution of genotypes T393T, T393С, С393С in patients with hypertension and healthy subjects (p>0,05). The risk for hypertension in carriers of genotypes T393T + T393С relatively to С393С genotype was not significantly different (OR=1,44, 95% CI 0,74-2,80; p=0,283). During the analysis of the effect of smoking on the manifestations of T393С gene polymorphism α-subunit of the G-protein, no statistically significant difference were found (p>0,05). T393C gene polymorphism of α-subunit of G-protein did not affect the risk of hypertension. Key words: hypertension, gene polymorphism, G-protein. Medical Institute of State University (Sumy)

HORMONAL ADAPTATION OF THE FETAL-PLACENTAL COMPLEX S.Y. Kosilova Abstract. The course of pregnancy and labour in women with preeclampsia considerably determines maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. The study of the hormonal function of the fetal-placental complex appears to be rather topical in this respect. The research conducted gave the evidence that the pregnant with preeclampsia develop placental dysfunction. It results in a decrease of hormone production in the fetal-placental complex, development of complications during gestation, labour, conditions of the fetus, and requires a hormone-correcting therapy. Key words: pregnancy, preeclampsia, placental dysfunction, hormones. Bukovinian State Medical University (Chernivtsi)
Analysis of antenatal risk factors in multiple pregnancies О.V. Kravchenko Abstract. We examined 42 pregnant women with twins who gave birth in 2013 in the clinical maternity hospital № 2 of Chernivtsi. It was established that multiple pregnancy is more common in multipara women of age group 25-30 years (52,3 %). The course of pregnancy with twins is aggravated in 78,5 %, which is much higher than the average population index. Dichorionic diamniotic twins dominated (57,1 %) in the structure of multiple pregnancy. The preterm labor with dichorionic diamniotic twins occur 3 times less frequently (23,6 %) than in monochorionic diamniotic multiple pregnancies (75,4 %). Perinatal risks at
the repeated caesarean section and vaginal O.V. Kravchenko, V.A. Varvus Abstract. 251 pregnant women were under observation with a uterine scar after previously performed cesarean section. 225 women were operated one more time. 26 women had delivery through natural genital tract (10 % of the pregnant women with a uterine scare). It was established that the delivery occurred physiologically due to the correct assessment of risk factors for vaginal birth in women with a uterine scar. The presence of uterine scar in the lower segment does not significantly affect the nature and duration of labor. An increased fetal weight at vaginal birth in women with a uterine scar to 300g does not increase obstetric and perinatal complications. Thus, the study has shown that an increase of complications such as placentation in the scar and scar failure is high risk of maternal and perinatal pathology in pregnancy with a uterine scar. Key words: uterine scar, perinatal risk. Bukovinian State Medical University (Chernivtsi)
PRODUCTION AND RECEPTION OF THE GROWTH FACTOR IN THE PLACENTA O.A. Kuzmina Abstract. 30 women with physiological pregnancy and 28 women with gestosis were examined. In the early chorion obtained after abortion and on the full-term placenta the content of the epidermal growth factor (EGF), vascular-endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and their receptors were studied by means of the ELISA method. In the process of normal gestation the increase of the placental production both of the EGF and VEGF was found. During the pregnancy complicated with gestosis and miscarriage in the first trimester the content of EGF and its receptor was lower compared to the physiological values. For VEGF and its receptor opposite changes were found: the increase of quantity of the growth factor and the decrease of its receptor. In the case of gestosis and term pregnancy the content of the both growth factors and their receptors was lower than in controls. The revealed changes in production of the angiogenic growth factors and their receptors in the placenta may have the pathogenic importance in the development of gestosis. OPTIMIZATION OF DAMAGING PERINATAL FACTORS DIAGNOSING IN М.V. Маkаrenko, О.A. Кuzmina Abstract. 74 pregnant women with the symmetric form of intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) at the term of pregnancy of 27-40 weeks were involved in the study. The conducted analysis showed that the principal cause of symmetric form of IUGR is the complicated course of pregnancy: gestosis (55 %) and protracted threat of pregnancy interruption (35 %). The obtained results allowed to distinguish the criteria of fetal chronic hypoxia and attribute them to the damaging perinatal factors in IUGR. Key words: Intrauterine growth restriction, damaging perinatal factors, diagnostics. National Medical University (Kharkiv)

VARIANTS OF THE FETUS’S UTERUS ANATOMY D.V. Proniaiev Abstract. Considering the complexity of prenatal and postnatal diagnostics of female gynecological pathology, the examination of 50 dead fetuses has been conducted by means of classical anatomical methods of investigation. The objective of the study was to find the regulations of normal and pathological perinatal uterine morphogenesis. As the result of the study conducted, normal and pathological forms of the uterus and their characteristic affiliation to a certain period of the fetal development have been detected. At the beginning of the fetal period sulcate and two-humped uterus prevails. Flat and protruding shape of the uterine fundus is found in the mature fetuses. The processes of definite organization of the uterine structure have been found to occur in the postnatal period of ontogenesis. Morphological peculiarities of the uterine structure have been differentiated to determine the age of the fetus. Key words: uterus, perinatal period, fetus, human. INFLUENCE OF THE DUAL COX-2/5-LOG INHIBITOR ON THE ACTIVITY OF L-ARHININ/NO SYSTEM IN RAT'S BLOOD WITH EXPERIMENTAL ULCER OF THE STOMACH O.P. Khavrona Abstract. A large spread of stomach ulcer causes the search for new effective gastroprotective drugs, which would possess antioxidant properties. It is established that the disease is accompanied by the imbalance in the system L-arhinin/NO. This is manifested by the activation of the NO-synthase pathway of L-arginine and is accompanied by excessive formation of nitric oxide. It is proved that the use of dual inhibitor COX-2/5-LOG normalizes deviation in the L-arhinin/NO system. This shows antioxidant and cytoprotective properties of the substance. Key words: L-arginine, nitric oxide, arginase, NO-synthase, COX-2/5-LOG inhibitor. Danylo Halytskyi National Medical University (Lviv) |
